Reflexology: Based on the principle that there are areas of reflex points on the feet and hands that correspond to each organ, gland, and structure in the body. The main benefit is relaxation and reduces tension and re-establishes harmony in all the body functions.

Swedish: Is the bases of all massages involving long wide strokes average, kneading, friction, tapping this induces a state of total relaxation.

Deep Tissue/Sports: Integrated into a Swedish session, but is more deep and focused on trigger points. These friction movements make use of the thumbs, fingertips, elbows, or heels of hands, to reach in the tissue where hidden tension and injury lie.

Orthopedic: an extremely efficient and effective method of therapy that is deeply relaxing and increases flex ability to improve performance.

Hot Stone: Hot stones penetrate muscles and balance the nervous system. Heated stones are used in combination with traditional massage techniques to create a beneficial and relaxing experience. The warm, soothing stones are placed along the chakras to relax muscles while other stones glide along tired and sore muscles. The hot stones penetrate the muscles at a deeper level then deep tissue massage alone. This technique helps reduce anxiety helps restore the body back to balance.

Spa Etiquette
The Day Spa is a calm, contemplative place. Cell phones and pagers must be turned off in order for you to get the full enjoyment and relaxation you deserve. If you arrive late, you will deprive yourself of precious massage minutes. Regardless of your arrival time, your treatment must end on time so that the next guest is not delayed.
You may access the treatment rooms from either the locker room or the main entrance of The Day Spa. When you enter a treatment room, your therapist will step outside to let you prepare. During your treatment, you will be draped to protect your privacy. Be sure to communicate any special needs, medical conditions or injuries to your therapist. Communication with your therapist will ensure your best possible enjoyment.
